I've recently started a game and am currently in the middle of helping my friends create characters. I've read the entire book on my kindle, but cannot find a single topic: When Players are choosing skills, what happens (how much of a bonus, etc.) when you choose one of your skills? I'm assuming you get a +1 bonus to the skill, but I'd like verification. If I don't get an answer in time I'll go along with this +1 bonus, but that could mean a major setback for players in the future.

I think that this will work in the game.
